MVP award

Yesterday, I received the good news from Microsoft- I am a MVP for the Year 2008 :)
This year I have been provided the MVP award for the efforts in Windows Live technical communities.

Thanks to Microsoft ! Thanks to my MVP Lead, Abhishek !
It's really a great honor as I continue to be a part of this group.

Out of curiosity, what benefits do you get an MVP, Vasudev? Do they vary according to what MVP you are?? MSDN and TechNet subscriptions ???

Getting a MVP title is in itself a great honor. One gets an opportunity to meet, interact with experts from Microsoft and other fellow MVPs all over the world. As a MVP one can interact with people needing help, troubleshooting and spreading the knowledge.
Apart from these, one gets the regular benefits, as you said MSDN/TechNet Subscriptions etc.etc. Please check the link provided in the post for more details and check the MVP Program benefits , http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/gp/mvpprogben
