We knew that Windows 8 is on track and will Release to Manufacturing (RTM) in first week of August and will reach general availability (GA) by the end of October! But the GA date was not known.
And the GA date has been just announced. We have a specific date ! Mark your Calendars… Save the date…
Its 26th Oct 2012 !
Steven Sinofsky announced at Microsoft’s annual sales meeting that customers will be able to get Windows 8 – whether in upgrade fashion or on a new PC – starting on October 26th.
