Webware 100 Awards 2008 Results Announced

The results of the Webware 100 awards 2008 have been announced. Many of the Microsoft Apps and services have been voted Winners in their respective categories. Earlier I had posted about the various nominations.

Various Microsoft apps and services Winners are :
In the Audio category,, Zune marketplace is there.
In the Browsing category, , Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Live Home are there.
In the Communication Category, Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Hotmail are there.
In the Productivity Category, Office Live Workspace is there.
In the Search and Reference Category, Live Search finds the place.

I was disappointed not to see Silverlight which was a Winner last year in this years' list. Was also surprised not to see Popfly in the Winners list, may be the category in which Popfly was nominated (Publishing and Photography) was not proper to be in.
I hope Silverlight will be become more popular after the Olympics.

Check the complete list of Webware 100 Awards Winners list here.
Congratulations to all the Winners !!
