As we hear reports of Yahoo's board meeting to discuss Microsoft bid, Yahoo announced Yahoo! Live ( http://live.yahoo.com )

Yahoo Live is a tool which lets you broadcast yourself from your webcam to the web, embedded wherever you'd like to, it may be on your blog or yahoo site. Or just tune in to other people’s channels. The video and audio are in real time.
Yahoo! Live is an experimental release with limited capacity.

On a lighter note , why the name Live ?? Amid all the reports of Yahoo board meeting to discuss Microsoft bid, Yahoo chose to call their service Yahoo! Live ?
Because whenever one talks of 'Live' one thinks of Windows Live services, So are they also thinking of being a part of Microsoft ?? One has to still wait & watch what happens to the outcome of the bid.
