PicLens (Cooliris) Plugin for PowerPoint

Few days back I had posted about pptPlex, a cool add-in from Office labs for PowerPoint2007 using which you can present your PowerPoint Slides as a Tour. Now here’s one more of such add-in PicLens from Cooliris. Using PicLens, one can have 3D Wall effect and can navigate back and forth among large number of slides. (direct download link)

After installing, it adds a button ‘Create PicLens Gallery’ in the Add-ins tab

After clicking that button it will create a folder of all the files needed for your PicLens slideshow of the Presentation opened.

And when you open the file ‘index.html’ in the browser (works with FireFox only), click on the Piclens wall Button on top right of browser to launch Piclens with Your Presentation Wall.

The plugin works only on Firefox with files created on PowerPoint 2003 – 2007. And its a work in progress so there are some limitations.
