Dalai Lama joins twitter – Yes, its verified account !

Yesterday I saw the twitter CEO, Evan Williams tweeting about his meeting with Dalai Lama and suggesting him to be on twitter.

And today His Holiness Dalai Lama’s twitter account @DalaiLama was listed and badged with ‘Verified Account’

It says:” Welcome to the official twitter page of the Office of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.”

So is it time for China to ban twitter also ?
